About Mita Gami:
Born in Boston and raised in a quaint village in northern Israel, Mita Gami’s musical journey began at the tender age of six with piano and guitar lessons. His early years were marked by performances in various bands, predominantly in the hard-rock and indie-rock genres. At 14, he ventured into DJing, exploring a myriad of musical styles.
A graduate of the Tivon Conservatorium, Mita Gami transitioned into electronic music, where he discovered his true passion. His innovative approach blends deep dance grooves with unexpected elements from rock, Middle Eastern sounds, and indie influences, crafting an emotional and immersive journey for his audience.
Mita Gami has become an integral figure in Tel Aviv’s vibrant club scene. He co-founded Blue Shadow Records and played a pivotal role in curating musical experiences like the ‘Sunrise Kingdom’ camp at Israel’s Midburn Festival. His productions have garnered international acclaim, with releases on esteemed labels such as Solomun’s Diynamic and Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion, resonating with listeners worldwide who seek a distinctive sound.
